Manti with minced pork and beef
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to cook manti with minced pork and beef? Let's prepare the necessary products.
STEP 2
For the dough, pour water into a bowl. Add salt and sifted flour. Mix everything well and knead into an elastic dough.
STEP 3
Form the dough into a ball and place in a bowl. Cover with a lid and let it rest for 10-15 minutes. (Dough for manti is similar in preparation to dough for dumplings, but it is steeper, denser and needs to be rolled out very thin.)
STEP 4
Prepare the filling. Cut the onion into large pieces and grind in a blender.
STEP 5
Grate the peeled and washed potatoes on a coarse grater.
STEP 6
Add chopped onion and coarsely grated potatoes to the twisted meat. Add salt, black and allspice, and pour in a little cold water.
STEP 7
Mix everything well, lightly beat the mass of minced meat.
STEP 8
Cut a piece from the dough, form it into an elongated sausage, cut into equal pieces.
STEP 9
Roll the pieces in flour, pressing lightly, then roll them into thin circles of the desired size. Place a portion of minced meat in the center of the circle.
STEP 10
Gather two opposite sides of the circle in the center to form a longitudinal line. Then attach the centers of the free edges perpendicular to the line, and connect the resulting “ears” in pairs and fasten the edges (see video recipe).
STEP 11
In this way, make manti from all the dough and minced meat. Place the pieces on buttered sections.
STEP 12
Put the manti dish on the fire, let the water boil and then put the pan with the manti preparations to cook. Cook manti for 40-45 minutes.
STEP 13
Place the hot manti on a dish and serve with adjika. Bon appetit!
