    STEP 1

    Let's prepare the products.

  2. STEP 2

To make manna tastier, mix semolina with kefir, stir and leave to “swell” for 20-30 minutes.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Add egg, vanilla sugar, salt to taste and sugar and mix well.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Melt margarine in the microwave and add to our dough. Mix well.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Combine flour and baking powder and sift into the dough.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

    Mix well.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Take a microwave-safe form. It should be twice the volume of the dough. Lubricate thoroughly with margarine. Pour the dough into the mold. Microwave for 9 minutes at 600 W. This is the most optimal mode - tested. When the program ends, just leave it in the microwave for a minute.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Here is our finished manna. It is very fragrant!

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

You can cut it in half and spread it with your favorite jam) We love to eat it just like that, with a cup of aromatic tea.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

I decorated the manna with sugar sprinkles and drew a flower with a sugar pencil)) Bon appetit!

You can quickly bake even a sponge cake in the microwave. I’m sharing the recipe, maybe someone will find it useful.

I was looking for a recipe for manna on the website and found manna in the microwave with kefir, quick and tasty. Sounds tempting, I decided to try it. On the author’s advice, I weighed all the ingredients on a kitchen scale to be accurate. Mix semolina with 1% kefir and leave for 30 minutes. The mixture became very thick. Then I added the rest of the ingredients and mixed everything with a whisk. The dough turned out quite dense, but fluid. The mark from the whisk remains, but quickly heals. I baked it in a special microwave-safe dish and pre-greased the bottom and sides with vegetable oil. I didn’t experiment with the mode, I did it as the author indicates - 9 minutes at 600 W. And she held it for another minute with the door closed. Mannik came out of the mold without any problems. He turned out to be tall. The crumb is light, fluffy, porous! It is delicious, smells nice of vanilla and is quite sweet. I wouldn’t reduce the amount of sugar; manna is not at all cloying. The result is excellent, I advise you to try it!

Still, it’s better to add a little cocoa to microwave baked goods for color, otherwise it turns out somehow pale. Although it doesn't affect the taste...

Hello! Today I decided to treat my friends to something new. I did everything as described in the recipe, except for the sugar - I reduced it to 3 tablespoons, but alas, the result was disappointing (((The mannik did not rise at all, it turned out to be a faded, dull cake of semolina. Why was a larger container needed? Maybe you have a mistake in the amount of baking powder in the recipe?
