  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to bake fluffy sweet buns in the oven? Prepare the necessary ingredients.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Warm the milk a little. Pour yeast and 1 teaspoon of sugar with half the warm milk, stir and leave in a warm place to activate the yeast for 10-15 minutes. A small foam cap should appear on the surface.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Melt the butter in a water bath or in the microwave and let it cool slightly.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Beat eggs with sugar and salt until smooth.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Pour melted butter into the eggs and stir.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Add the remaining milk to the butter-egg mixture and mix again.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Pour the activated yeast into the bowl and mix everything well again.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Sift the flour twice so that it is enriched with oxygen and the dough rises better. Gradually add flour to the resulting liquid mixture. First, you can safely add a little more than half and mix with a spoon. Then add the rest of the flour in small portions, stirring each time. You may need a little less or more flour. But the main thing is not to overdo it with its addition, so that the dough does not turn out too steep and heavy.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

The dough turns out soft, smooth, homogeneous. Cover it with a towel and leave it in a warm place to rise for 1-1.5 hours.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

After the specified time, the dough will rise well and increase in volume by about 2.5 times.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

Punch down the dough and place it on a table sprinkled with flour. Divide the dough into equal parts, the number of which will depend on the desired size of the buns. I divided it into 12 parts.

  12. STEP 12

    STEP 12

Roll each piece of dough into a log. Cover the buns with a towel to prevent them from winding up. Turn on the oven to 180 degrees in advance.

  13. STEP 13

    STEP 13

On a floured surface, roll each piece of dough into an oval shape.

  14. STEP 14

    STEP 14

Brush the flatbread with soft butter and sprinkle sugar on top.

  15. STEP 15

    STEP 15

Make frequent cuts along the length of the cake, without cutting all the way through.

  16. STEP 16

    STEP 16

Roll the dough into a log diagonally.

  17. STEP 17

    STEP 17

Wrap the roll in the shape of a snail.

  18. STEP 18

    STEP 18

Tuck the end of the roll down the bun, pressing lightly so that the dough does not unfold during baking.

  19. STEP 19

    STEP 19

Form all the buns in this way and place them on a greased baking sheet. Let the buns rest for 10-15 minutes.

  20. STEP 20

    STEP 20

Beat the yolk with milk. Milk can be replaced with sour cream.

  21. STEP 21

    STEP 21

Brush the tops of the buns with a mixture of yolk and milk (sour cream) using a pastry brush.

  22. STEP 22

    STEP 22

Bake fluffy yeast dough buns in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. The exact time depends on your oven. Let the buns cool and serve them. Enjoy your tea!

The lush sweet buns in the oven turned out soft and fluffy. I was a little short on sugar. But this is individual for everyone. Lubricated with yolk and milk. My dough was not as dense as the author’s in the photo, but I didn’t add more flour, I was afraid to “clog” the dough. The buns cooked quickly, I didn’t track the exact time, but it seemed like 20 minutes. I liked the result, I recommend the recipe.

Julia, yesterday I made buns according to your recipe, the simple dough turned out so good, but it didn’t rise... I put it in the oven with the light on, because it’s cold in the apartment.. But I still made buns from this dough. The buns turned out VERY beautiful and tasty, just not so fluffy))) I think it’s because of the yeast.. The other day I made pizza with them, the dough also didn’t turn out as it should.. Yulia, I’ll definitely make these buns, I really liked them , I’ll take other yeast, I’ll report on the result, here’s my photo report)))

The girls, looking at you, couldn’t stand it and also baked buns. I added a little cinnamon to the sugar. But I couldn’t cut the dough into thin strips, since it is very tender. It’s probably better to use a pizza cutter? The buns turned out tender, airy and very tasty! Thank you Julia!!!

The recipe is very good. The buns turned out great. And not only this form. To make them fluffy, you just need to leave them a little longer. The dough is also suitable for pies. I actually used live yeast in a briquette. Thank you, I liked everything very much!!!
