Wash and sort the raisins. Place to dry on a kitchen towel or napkin.

Add yeast, salt and sugar to slightly warm kefir.

Gradually add flour to the dough.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Let's add raisins. The pancake dough looks like thick sour cream.

  9. STEP 9

I made fluffy pancakes with raisins using kefir. I have never used yeast before when making pancakes. And then I decided to experiment. Using the calculator on the website, I reduced the number of products. The dough took more than 40 minutes to rise. The finished pancakes turned out fluffy, the raisins added their pleasant sourness. But, in my opinion, kefir pancakes are always fluffy, so I still didn’t understand why yeast was needed... I served them with dandelion jam - very tasty!

Alinka! Thanks for the delicious breakfast! I was too lazy to look for proportions somewhere or do them by eye, so I came to you. I followed the recipe, but instead of yeast I used 0.5 tsp. soda The result was tall, fluffy, delicious pancakes!

But I didn’t succeed a little. They didn’t come out sweet or fluffy, as if they didn’t have enough soda in them. Next time I’ll try 1 tablespoon more sugar and soda instead of yeast.
