  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to pickle cucumbers in a bag of garlic? Prepare your food. You can take absolutely any cucumbers, even large varieties, you just have to cut them. But the most delicious lightly salted cucumbers come from small fruits. I prepared half a portion. In addition to allspice, you can take any other spices and seasonings. If you pickle cucumbers in the summer, then dill umbrellas are very suitable, they give a special aroma.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Rinse the cucumbers thoroughly under running water, you can even rub them with a brush and soda to wash away all the dirt. Cut off the ends of the cucumbers. If you have small cucumbers, then leave them as is. If the fruits are large, then cut them either into quarters or into another number of pieces. Aim for a size of about 7 cm. Take a clean, strong plastic bag of a suitable size. Place the prepared cucumbers in it.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Also rinse the dill well under cold water, and then dry it with paper or regular towels. Excess moisture in the dill will produce excess liquid during pickling, which is not needed. Pick dill sprigs from thick stems. Finely chop the prepared greens.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Peel the garlic and then chop it. I prefer to chop the garlic coarsely so that it can be easily removed later. If you are a garlic lover, you can chop it or put it through a garlic press.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Add chopped dill and garlic to the cucumbers in a bag, add salt and sugar, add pepper. I’ve never put sugar in lightly salted cucumbers before, but in vain, it gives a special note to the finished dish. Tie the bag, leaving plenty of air in it. Shake it well from side to side so that all the products are mixed.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Place the bag of cucumbers on a plate as liquid may release. Leave the bag at room temperature for 4 hours. This time is enough to obtain delicious, crispy lightly salted cucumbers. Store the prepared cucumbers in the refrigerator, but not for long. It is advisable to eat them as they are cooked.

My mother used to make the same cucumbers, and the memories just came flooding back. I had some substandard cucumbers left, about 700 g, and I decided to prepare this quick appetizer for dinner. I used a convenient calculator, adjusted the proportions and prepared the cucumbers very quickly. I cut them into 4 pieces so that they salt faster. Literally half an hour later the cucumbers became soft and juice came out. I marinated for 2 hours, turning the bag over several times during this time. The cucumbers turned out crispy, despite the fact that they became limp during pickling. Very tasty, sweet, salty and spicy. The aroma of dill and garlic adds to the appetite) Thanks for the recipe! Very cool!

If the cucumbers are small, then you can simply cut off the ends and place them in a bag, but since you have a quick recipe in half an hour, then, of course, it’s really better to cut into smaller pieces down to slices. Goes great with potatoes or, alternatively, outdoors in addition to kebabs.
