I still had substandard cucumbers, I was wondering what to do with them. I searched the website for options and found a recipe for lightly salted cucumbers for the winter. I reduced the number of servings according to my products. I washed the cucumbers well with a brush, as they have a whitish coating on them. For greens, I have horseradish leaves and an umbrella of dried dill. And also fragrant garlic and spicy pepper. Boil the brine for about three minutes and cool to about 37 degrees. The cucumbers were pickled in this brine for exactly two days. There was a slight bend on top to prevent the cucumbers from floating up. The brine began to become slightly cloudy and a characteristic smell appeared. From that moment on, I put the container in the refrigerator. I didn’t close it for the winter; I ate these delicious, crispy cucumbers right away. They have a slightly pickled flavor and are great with boiled potatoes!
