Easy, fast, useful, economical! A storehouse of vitamins in winter! This salad is an excellent source of fiber, vitamins and minerals, which we so need in the winter. The salad is low in calories, so it is perfect for a late dinner. Also a great dish during Lent. The salad can be served as a separate dish or as a side dish, for example, with fish. Bon appetit!

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

    Let's prepare the necessary ingredients.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Shred the cabbage, lightly salt it and forget about it for a while so that it produces juice.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Grate the radish on a fine grater.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

We remember our cabbage, mash it with our hands until soft and juice appears.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

    Mix cabbage and radish.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Add crackers and corn. The croutons I had were simply salted, but I think croutons would go well with, for example, garlic or horseradish.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Season the salad with vegetable oil and mix. Let the salad brew until the croutons are soft. I added a couple of drops of soy sauce to the dressing, but as they say, this is not for everyone. You can also dress the salad with mayonnaise, but... I prepared it for Lent and ended up with this option.
