150g
1teaspoon
3tablespoon
250ml
8tablespoon
Step-by-step preparation
Cooking time: 30 mins
STEP 1
Vanilla/vanillin, sugar, flour and baking powder - mix everything into one, still loose mass.
STEP 2
Add cocoa.
STEP 3
Mix the ingredients.
STEP 4
We turn everything into a homogeneous viscous dough, pouring warm water and vegetable oil. Let's start kneading. You have to hurry, otherwise the dough will not turn out the way you would like. The finished dough looks not too thick, fluid, but not too watery.
STEP 5
Pour the resulting dough into molds. It is better to line the mold in advance with baking paper or grease it with vegetable oil. To bake, the cake needs 30-40 minutes at 200 degrees. Much depends on the chosen mold and its size. In any case, the cooked cake should be hard and dry inside.
STEP 6
Here is the result, the lean chocolate cake is ready!!! Bon appetit.

While searching for recipes made with whole grain flour, I found a lean chocolate cake with water on the website. I decided to try it, especially since all the products are available. I always sift any flour, and I did the same this time. There is bran left in the sieve, I think it might weigh down the baking. I used regular white sugar, but it will be more flavorful with brown. Added water and vegetable oil to the dry mixture. The dough turned out smooth, homogeneous and quite thick. There was enough for 12 small molds and 1 larger one. The cupcakes were baked for 40 minutes at 180°C. They have risen noticeably and are very porous inside. The crumb is juicy, sweet and very chocolatey! Crispy crust on top. We liked the baked goods, the aroma filled the whole house!

Thanks for the recipe, the cupcakes turned out great. I used spelled/cereal flour and added a few raisins. I baked for 30 minutes.
