    First of all, prepare the rice. Rinse it well several times, fill it with clean cold water and let it cook. Bring the water to a boil and cook the rice for a couple of minutes. Then place on a sieve and cool.

    Cut the cabbage into small cubes. I’ve seen recipes where it’s grated on a coarse grater for lazy cabbage rolls, but I haven’t tried it myself. Instead of white cabbage, you can use Chinese cabbage.

    Place the cabbage in a bowl and pour boiling water over it. Leave the cabbage to stand for 10 minutes, then also place in a sieve to drain excess liquid. You can also boil the cabbage for 5 minutes or fry it in a pan with oil.

    Cut the onion into small cubes.

    Grate the carrots on a coarse grater.

    Fry vegetables in a small amount of vegetable oil until soft, about 5 minutes.

    Take a bowl, put minced meat, rice, cabbage, and fried vegetables in it. Salt and pepper the minced meat. You can also add your favorite spices. Beat in the egg.

    With wet hands, form the minced meat into oblong cabbage rolls and roll them in flour. I got 8 pieces, I cooked half the portion.

    Fry the cabbage rolls in vegetable oil on both sides until golden brown. Make the heat under the frying pan high and pour in a lot of oil, as the cabbage rolls will quickly absorb it.

    Prepare the sauce. Mix sour cream with tomato paste, dilute this mixture with hot water to the consistency of liquid kefir. Salt the sauce.

For lunch I prepared cabbage rolls according to the recipe for lazy cabbage rolls with rice, cabbage and minced meat in a saucepan. I took steamed long-grain rice, washed it well, filled it with water and set it to cook for 5 minutes. Then I put it in a colander and rinsed with cold water. I had minced pork, I made it by chopping the meat with a blender. Taking a deep plate, I combined minced meat, fried onions and carrots, rice and shredded cabbage, which I had previously kept in boiling water for 10 minutes. Then I salted everything, beat in one egg and mixed it well. The minced meat turned out viscous, and it was easy to make cabbage rolls from it. I rolled them in flour, then fried them until golden brown in vegetable oil. Since the recipe allowed for further cooking in a frying pan, I did not transfer the cabbage rolls into the pan, poured sour cream and tomato sauce over them in a frying pan and, bringing to a boil, left to simmer for 40 minutes. The cabbage rolls turned out soft in a delicious sauce. Their texture is uniform, the cabbage and rice are steamed so well that they do not stand out at all from the general background.
