How to make pita bread with cottage cheese and banana in the oven? Start cooking with the filling. Prepare food for her. Take natural cottage cheese, without milk fat substitutes. Its fat content can be anything, just keep in mind that the calorie content of the dish will depend on this. Choose a well-ripe banana; the filling will be both more aromatic and sweeter. Divide the egg into white and yolk - the white will be needed for the filling, the yolk for the pita bread.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

How to make the filling? It is better to rub the cottage cheese through a sieve or punch it with a blender so that the filling becomes homogeneous and tender.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Add sugar and protein to cottage cheese.

  4. STEP 4

Peel the banana and cut into thin slices.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

For the roll, take 1 thin rectangular pita bread and 1 egg yolk to grease the roll, which is left over from the filling.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Spread the pita bread on the table. Lubricate it evenly and quickly with the curd mass so that the pita bread does not have time to dry out - then it will not crack when rolled up.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Arrange banana slices evenly on top.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Roll the pita bread into a roll. Place it on a baking tray lined with baking paper.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Using a brush, brush the pita bread with yolk. Place the roll in an oven preheated to 180°C for 20 minutes until a golden brown crust appears on the pita bread.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

Cool the roll at room temperature and cut into pieces. Serve it to the table, either warm or cold. Bon appetit!

I also like to use thin pita bread to prepare interesting and unusual dishes. It is difficult to find sweet pastries among them, except for baked strudel. But I saw a recipe with cottage cheese on the Internet a long time ago, although the roll was without bananas. Everyone wanted to try what it tasted like. It turned out to be very simple and quick to prepare; you don’t have to waste time on the dough. My cottage cheese was grainy, so I beat it with an immersion blender. At first I thought that there was not enough sugar, but after trying it I decided that it was quite enough, because... Banana is also sweet. The roll was baked for 20 minutes. The pita bread absorbed the moisture from the cottage cheese and became like puff pastry. The inside of the roll is soft and tender, and on top there is a slightly crispy yellow crust. It's delicious and unusual! A real find for busy housewives, and this roll will also help out if guests are on the doorstep) Great recipe, thank you!
