Lavash roll with red fish and cheese
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make a pita roll with red fish and cheese? Prepare the indicated products. It is better to take lavash from a trusted manufacturer with thick sheets. I have lavash in a package of three sheets, with a total weight of 300 grams, I take two sheets. You can take any fish, I used lightly salted salmon. I use processed cheese; if you replace it, the taste will be different, and so will the dish. You can take dill as desired; without it, everything will also be very tasty.
STEP 2
Remove the pita bread from the packaging and spread two sheets on top of each other. If the pita bread is initially very dense, then one sheet may be enough. But if the lavash sheets are thin, then to prevent the filling from leaking out, it is better to take two sheets. Lubricate the pita bread generously over the entire area with melted cheese.
STEP 3
Remove the fish from the packaging and remove small bones with tweezers. Using a sharp knife, cut the flesh of the fish from the skin and cut into small pieces. Place pieces of red fish evenly over the pita bread at a short distance from each other.
STEP 4
Wash fresh dill in running water, dry with paper towels and chop finely. Sprinkle the chopped herbs evenly over the fish. I will make two types - with and without dill, so I sprinkle greens on only half of the pita bread with fish.
STEP 5
Carefully, bending the edge, roll the entire pita bread with filling into a tight roll. Wrap the roll with fish and melted cream cheese in cling film and put it in the refrigerator for an hour; if you are short on time, you can put it in the freezer for 20 minutes.
STEP 6
After cooling the roll, remove it from the refrigerator and use a sharp knife to cut it into portions 1.5 - 2 centimeters thick. Place the red fish roll on a beautiful dish and you can serve it to the table. Bon appetit!
