  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to salt carp caviar at home? Prepare the necessary ingredients. You can use table or sea salt. Take caviar from any river fish (carp, carp, perch), I took it from a carp weighing 3 kg.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

First, carefully rinse the caviar with water (preferably filtered). Then carefully grind the caviar with a spoon, using a colander to get rid of the films; the holes in the colander should be larger than the size of the caviar. Or you can punch the caviar using a grater with large holes.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Place the caviar in a glass or ceramic container; do not use metal or plastic containers, as they may leave an unpleasant odor and spoil the taste of the caviar.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Prepare the brine - dissolve the salt in a ladle of water and bring to a boil, boil for another 2 minutes. If you wish, you can add bay leaves, peppercorns, or other seasonings to the brine that can be easily removed later.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Pour salted boiling water over the caviar and stir well with a fork so that the brine is distributed between all the caviar. The caviar will immediately change color, it will turn orange and you will see which eggs have not received enough brine. Leave the caviar to salt for another 2 hours.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Drain the salted water using a colander and cheesecloth, leave the caviar to drain for another 5-7 minutes, then put it in a suitable container, cover with a lid or cling film and put it in the refrigerator to cool for 2 hours.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

You can additionally salt the finished caviar to your taste or rinse it with boiled water, then it will be lightly salted. You can safely spread the caviar on bread with butter and serve it as a snack or with tea. Bon appetit!

In our country, caviar is salted mainly raw, I don’t really like it. Therefore, as soon as I had fresh caviar, I began to look for a suitable recipe on the site. First, I freed the caviar from the films with a fork, then washed it well and rubbed it through a sieve with a spoon. A very convenient way! She boiled the brine, boiled it and poured it over the prepared caviar. I stirred immediately, and foam rose. She quickly removed the foam and covered the bowl with a lid. Exactly two hours later I hung the bag of caviar over the sink. The brine drained from me for about 20 minutes. Well, now I know how to salt carp caviar at home. After all, she turned out simply gorgeous! Very reminiscent of pike). It is a beautiful orange color, does not smell of fish at all, and the degree of salting is ideal. The eggs burst pleasantly in the mouth). I seasoned the caviar with unscented vegetable oil and added green onions. A sandwich with such a healthy and satisfying yummy breakfast fills you with vitamins and energy for a long time. Thank you very much for the perfect recipe! I recommend to everyone!

Ooooh, you can be stunned by how delicious it is! Caviar is my weakness of weaknesses!!! Usually I always fried it, rolled it in flour or left it in the fish, if it was small, of course, and fried it with the fish inside, it also turned out original. Thank you very much for the wonderful recipe for salting carp caviar at home!

Salting carp caviar is the simplest, in my opinion. The result is filling and tasty, my whole family loved it. This caviar is good to spread on sandwiches and make fillings from it. The caviar is moderately salted, clean, non-greasy - it melts in your mouth. Now I have finally figured out for myself how to salt carp caviar at home!
