Herring Ambassador

Awesome herring! Great with potatoes and onions! The herring is just lovely! I read a recipe from fishermen in the newspaper. Now I use it often. The herring turns out to be very tender, lightly salted and without any Eshek.

    We take a frozen herring, preferably a plump one, defrost it a little, make an axe-head and remove the skin. Removing the skin from frozen fish is very easy.

Excuse me, but is one night really enough to prepare? Because I read other pickling recipes, they require at least 2.3 days....
