We take herring (cut off the head and tail, peel), onion (1 medium onion per 1 fish), depending on how many people you speak.

Salt and pepper the fish.
STEP 3

We put lemon in the belly, but very often I make it without it, it’s also very tasty.
STEP 4

Onion mode as convenient for you, I like it in half rings, put it on foil, put fish on it and again onion.

Place on a baking sheet and place in the oven, preheated to 160 degrees, bake for 30 minutes at 160 degrees. After half an hour, open the foil and bake at 200 degrees until golden brown for 20-30 minutes.

I serve this herring right in foil, like in a boat, with crushed potatoes or with stewed cabbage and tomato, or with fresh vegetables.
