Original recipe for pickling herring. I liked the recipe for Herring He in Korean because it is unusual; here the whole carcass is salted. and already cut pieces. The process is not complicated, I decided to repeat it. For me, the most difficult thing was to remove all the seeds, but I managed to do it) I grated the carrots on a regular grater with large holes, and I also cut the onion into half rings. I love herring with vinegar, but I’ve never added soy sauce, I was curious what would happen. And it turned out just amazing! I did not add red pepper and sesame seeds, because... I don’t like them, but otherwise I took everything according to the recipe. After adding the vegetables, there was very little liquid left, so next time I wouldn’t drain the brine. But in principle, under the pressure, everything was well saturated with the marinade. The herring turned out to be hot and sour and tasty. There is too much garlic for us, but you can try it for the sake of experiment) The pieces of herring became much denser than they were at the beginning and were colored from the soy sauce on top. And the inside turned white from the presence of vinegar. We liked the appetizer. But for those who will cook, I advise you to take a closer look at the amount of spicy ingredients)
