STEP 1

How to make heh from trout? Prepare all the products indicated in the recipe. It is better to take trout that is not frozen, then the finished dish will turn out especially tasty. What kind of fish can I use? Any fish with red meat is suitable, be it pink salmon, salmon, sockeye salmon, chum salmon, salmon, etc. Gut the fish, remove scales and wash thoroughly.
STEP 2

Cut the trout into fillets. The skin can be removed, I usually leave it on, I like it better this way. Cut the fish into medium-sized pieces. Remove all seeds, even the smallest ones. Place the trout in a deep, comfortable bowl.
STEP 3

Add salt. I used half a tablespoon of fine salt and the fish ended up being lightly salted. If you like it saltier, use a little more salt. Mix everything well, cover the bowl with cling film or a lid and place in the refrigerator for 4-5 hours, or you can leave it overnight.
STEP 4

Remove the fish from the refrigerator. Taste a small piece for salt. If the fish turns out to be salty, rinse it in clean cold water, blot it with napkins and place it back in the bowl. Peel the onion, rinse, dry and cut into half rings or rings. You can add more onion to taste. Chop the green feathers not very large. Add the onion to the fish.

Pour in vegetable oil and vinegar. Add ground black pepper and your favorite seasonings.
STEP 6

Mix everything thoroughly and refrigerate for 30-60 minutes.
