I wanted to make green tomatoes into slices for the winter. Only my tomatoes turned a little yellow while they were waiting in line. But I still followed the steps of the recipe and rolled up four jars of this deliciousness). The tomatoes were quite large, so I cut them into 6 pieces. I added chopped parsley and garlic, mixed everything and put it in jars. I brought the syrup to a boil, adding the vinegar last. I don’t really like sterilizing, I’m afraid of a large accumulation of hot jars, so I sterilized one at a time. The jars are hot and cannot be placed in cold water, so I pre-heated the water in the pan. I rolled up the finished jars with sterile lids and put them under a warm “fur coat”. I think the tomatoes will turn out tasty and aromatic!
