  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make tea with lemon and honey? Put the kettle on and prepare the necessary ingredients. There are not many of them.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Peel the ginger and cut into thin slices. By the way, if for some reason you don’t like ginger or want to make tea for children, then you can exclude it.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Place green tea, ginger and cinnamon in a teapot. It is not necessary to add cinnamon, like ginger, but it will be much tastier and healthier with them. Someone taught me a long time ago to pre-rinse a kettle with boiling water. In my opinion, this helps to reveal the taste and aroma of the tea leaves. Therefore, I advise you to first pour a little boiling water into an empty teapot, stir slightly to warm up the walls, drain, and only then add the ingredients.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Fill the teapot with boiling water, almost to the top.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

If desired, you can add a sprig of fresh or dried mint - it will also add its aroma and benefits to the tea.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Next, cover the teapot with a towel and let it brew for 10 minutes, during which time the tea will reveal its aroma

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

    Our tea is almost ready!

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

All that remains is to add a slice of lemon - just don’t put it in boiling water right away, let the tea cool a little, otherwise vitamin C will simply be destroyed

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Now it's the turn of honey. But the problem is that you need to add it to tea at a temperature no higher than 40 degrees, otherwise honey will only transfer its sweetness to the tea, but not its benefits! For children, this tea is just right, but if you like to drink tea hot, it’s better to eat honey as a bite!

Enjoy your tea and stay healthy!

How you want to enjoy aromatic hot tea with your family on a cold winter evening. I used the recipe for green tea with ginger, lemon and honey and did not regret it. I added dried mint from our dacha and Ivan tea, collected on the sea coast. I doused the kettle with boiling water, cut the lemon into quarters, ginger into slices and put it directly into the kettle. I put the dried herbs in a strainer, which came with my teapot. I didn't wrap her in a towel. Our teapot has its own custom-tailored fur coat. We were patient and brewed all these goodies for 2 hours. After a leisurely walk through the crunchy snow, we enjoyed this incomparable aroma and taste, just like in childhood, when there were no all these electronic “nasties” and the whole family gathered around the table, sharing their impressions of the past day. Thanks to the author for such a cozy and tasty recipe.
