  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to fry yeast pies in a frying pan? Prepare all the necessary ingredients.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Such pies can be made with absolutely any filling, the main thing is that it is completely prepared. I made pies with potatoes. To do this, I boiled the potatoes in advance, mashed them and added onions fried in butter, salt, ground black pepper and mixed everything.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Heat the milk a little, but strongly. It should be warm, but not scalding, otherwise the yeast in it will not be activated, but will die. Pour warm milk into a bowl, add yeast and sugar. Mix everything until smooth. You will learn a lot of useful information about yeast by reading the article at the end of the recipe.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Sift three tablespoons of flour into a bowl with milk and yeast and stir again until smooth.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Cover the bowl with a clean cloth and leave in a warm place for about 15 minutes. During this time, the yeast should begin to work and form a dense foam. If this does not happen, it means that the yeast is not suitable for further use and will have to be replaced.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Beat the egg into a separate bowl and stir with a fork or whisk until smooth. Pour half the egg into the yeast, add salt and stir.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Now sift 1 cup of flour into a bowl with the yeast mixture and knead the dough. It will be sticky, that's how it should be. You may need less or more flour, use the consistency of the dough as a guide. Read more about flour in the article at the end of the recipe.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Pour vegetable oil into the dough and continue kneading.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Now gradually add the remaining flour and knead into a soft dough. You may need a little more or a little less flour than the specified amount. The yeast dough for frying pies in a frying pan is ready. Leave on the counter for about 5 minutes.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Divide the dough into twelve equal parts and roll them into balls.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

Take one ball and use a rolling pin to roll it into a thin cake.

  12. STEP 12

    STEP 12

Place the filling on the flatbread.

  13. STEP 13

    STEP 13

Connect the edges of the cake and make tucks along the entire length.

  14. STEP 14

    STEP 14

Turn the pie seam side down and press slightly on top.

  15. STEP 15

    STEP 15

Form the remaining pies in the same way.

  16. STEP 16

    STEP 16

Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan; its level should be approximately 1 cm. Place the first batch of pies in the frying pan, seam side down, reduce the heat and fry for 3-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. How to choose a frying pan and oil for frying, read the separate articles at the end of this recipe.

  17. STEP 17

    STEP 17

Remove the finished pies from the frying pan and place on a plate lined with a napkin so that excess fat is absorbed. Fry all the pies in this way.

  18. STEP 18

    STEP 18

Serve fried pies with milk, tea or coffee.

  19. STEP 19

    STEP 19

    Bon appetit!

The yeast pies fried in a frying pan turned out very tasty. I took 20g compressed yeast for 12 servings. The dough turned out soft and tender, it was easy to work with. The filling was made from boiled rice with fried minced meat. It turned out to be a wonderful lunch!
