STEP 1

How to fry potatoes with dried mushrooms in a frying pan? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. You can choose any mushrooms. I have dried boletus and porcini mushrooms. It is advisable to take the potatoes young so that they have time to cook quickly. If you take regular potatoes, then you need to peel, cut and pre-blanch them.
STEP 2

Pour boiling water over dried mushrooms and leave to stand for 3-4 hours. If time allows, you can leave it overnight.
STEP 3

Wash the saturated mushrooms to remove sand and place them in a saucepan. Fill with water, bring to a boil, add a little salt and cook over low heat for 25-30 minutes.

Then drain the hot water and rinse the mushrooms a little in cold water.
STEP 5

New potatoes can be easily peeled in running water using a wire brush. Cut the peeled potatoes lengthwise into 4 wedges. Heat a frying pan until hot and pour in a little vegetable oil. Place the prepared potatoes and quickly fry them until golden brown.
STEP 6

Peel the onion, rinse and cut into half rings. Place the chopped onion in the frying pan with the potatoes and fry everything together for 1-2 minutes over low heat. The onion will give off a characteristic aroma and become more transparent.
STEP 7

Place the prepared mushrooms in the pan. Stir. Add salt and spices to taste. I recommend adding only ground pepper as a spice. Aromatic spices will overwhelm the taste of mushrooms. Fry the potatoes with mushrooms over low heat for about 15 minutes. A couple of minutes before readiness, add the garlic, passed through a press. Stir occasionally to prevent it from burning.
STEP 8

Fried potatoes with dried mushrooms in a frying pan are ready! Place on plates and serve hot! A few minutes before cooking, you can add sour cream to the potatoes or serve it in addition to the finished dish. Bon appetit!
