    STEP 1

How to cook delicious flaxseed jelly from flaxseed? Very simple! To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. For preparation, it is better to use filtered or bottled water that is neutral in taste. If you use tap water, keep in mind that it can give the dish an unpleasant characteristic taste. You can adjust the amount of honey to your taste. You can replace honey with sweetener or regular sugar.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Pour water into a saucepan and boil. You can do this right away in a slow cooker. To do this, you need to set the “Cooking” mode for 10 minutes and wait until the water boils.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Pour boiling water into the multicooker bowl. Add flax seeds next. There is no need to rinse them.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Close the lid of the device and set the multicooker to the “Multi-cook” mode for 70 minutes at a temperature of 90°C. It is very important to set the temperature: the water should not boil, but be hot enough. At this temperature, gluten is released from the flax, which thickens the jelly without any starch. Focus on your technique.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Remove the bowl from the multicooker and cool the broth until warm. As the jelly cools, it will thicken. Add honey and lemon juice to the still warm jelly and stir thoroughly until smooth.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Then strain the broth through a sieve, cutting off the flax seeds. You can discard the seeds or wash them, dry them and add them to baked goods.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

The jelly turns out to be quite dark and of medium thickness. If you need the jelly thinner, add more water.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Pour the jelly into glasses or cups and serve warm or chilled. You can drink ½ glass 3 times a day. Bon appetit!

I paid attention to this recipe, because it contains a minimum of ingredients, but maximum benefits) I bought flax in the summer at the market in Kislovodsk, I kept thinking about where I could use it besides sprinkling. I cooked this flaxseed jelly not in a slow cooker, but on the stove in a small saucepan with a double bottom. I cooked it for the same amount of time on very low heat. To be honest, the smell during the process was not violet, but after it cooled down, everything became okay with the smell) At first, the finished jelly was dark, but after adding lemon juice and honey, the drink noticeably brightened. The drink really thickened and became like jelly on starch. The consistency is thick) The taste is unusual and pleasant. Honey and lemon juice complement the jelly very well with their aroma and taste. Special thanks for the instructions for use, otherwise I already wanted to drink the whole mug)
