STEP 1
How to fry tortillas using water and flour without eggs in a frying pan? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Olive oil can be replaced with regular vegetable flavor bases.
STEP 2
Sift the wheat flour through a sieve into a deep bowl. Thanks to this, it will be saturated with oxygen, and the finished cakes will turn out more tender. Make a well in the center and pour olive oil into it, add a pinch of salt and pour a glass of hot water.
STEP 3
Start kneading the dough. To avoid burning your hands, use a wooden spoon first. When the dough has cooled slightly, continue kneading it with your hands. Transfer the lumped dough onto a work surface and knead for about 10 minutes. If necessary, you can add a little more flour. It should become elastic. Cover the container with the dough with cling film and leave for about 20 minutes.
STEP 4
After 20 minutes, knead the dough again and divide it into 10 parts. I got 72 grams for each cake. The amount of dough received depends greatly on the quality of grinding of the flour used. To prevent the dough from drying out, cover the resulting dough balls with film.
STEP 5

STEP 6
Immediately place the flatbread on a hot dry frying pan and fry it over medium heat on both sides. No need to add oil. When frying, the cakes will swell, this is normal. If the cake is very swollen, you can carefully pierce it with a sharp knife.
STEP 7
Place the finished cakes on a wooden board in a stack on top of each other and cover with a clean towel. Let them cool slightly. Pan-fried eggless flatbreads are ready to serve. Bon appetit!
