  1. STEP 1

Great recipe for fish stewed in sour cream! I actually cooked it a little differently, but I used this recipe as a basis. Instead of whole fish, I decided to use tilapia fillets. First, I fried pieces of fish (I had 300 grams of clean fillet), then removed the fish and fried a whole onion in the same frying pan. Then I put everything in a frying pan, added much more sour cream (250 g) and simmered under a closed lid for 15 minutes. This time was more than enough. The fish turned out very tender and tasty! Served it on the table along with mashed potatoes and a salad of fresh vegetables. Definitely, the recipe went into my piggy bank!

The fish stewed in sour cream turned out very tender and tasty. Lightly salted and peppered the pieces of fatty sturgeon. I fried the onion in a frying pan and then sealed the fish on both sides. In a separate bowl, I mixed sour cream (I used 25%, thick) with filtered water to make it a little thinner. Added dill, parsley, cilantro and fish seasoning. I poured this sauce over the fish and onions. Simmered for 30 minutes. It turned out very fragrant. I really love cilantro, the taste with it is simply masterpiece. But this is not for everybody. I’ve never cooked this way, but thanks to your recipe I’ll cook it often. Thank you!
