Fish cake with condensed milk
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
You will need an unsalted cracker, one banana, two kiwis, nuts, chocolate and optional coconut. You can buy condensed milk already boiled or cook it yourself. To do this, immerse a can of condensed milk (don't forget to remove the paper label in advance) into a pan of boiling water. It is important that the water completely covers the jar, otherwise the condensed milk may explode. Cook for about 3 hours on low heat. Carefully remove the jar and cool at room temperature.
STEP 2
Mix sour cream (20-30% fat) with condensed milk in a container. Condensed milk can be replaced with 100 grams of powdered sugar. Sour cream can be replaced with heavy cream or mascarpone cheese. If desired, add vanilla sugar (about 1 tbsp) or vanillin (at the tip of a knife). Be sure to read the instructions before use. If you add more vanilla than necessary, the taste of the cake will be bitter.
STEP 3
Beat with a mixer until smooth and fluffy. The cream is ready.
STEP 4
Wash the banana and kiwi, dry with paper towels. Leave one kiwi for decoration, cut the remaining fruits into small pieces.
STEP 5
Place cookies in a bowl. Add cream.
STEP 6
Add chopped fruit.
STEP 7
Place the peeled walnuts in the microwave for 3-4 minutes or dry in a dry frying pan, then chop with a knife or in a blender and add to the rest of the ingredients.
STEP 8
Mix the whole mass well.
STEP 9
Line a detachable round cake pan (18-20 cm in diameter) with cling film to prevent the mixture from leaking out. You can also use an enamel bowl, silicone, or plastic mold.
STEP 10
Pour the mixture into the mold, level the surface and compact well. Cover the top with cling film and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, if not longer (4-8 hours). The longer the cake soaks, the tastier it will be.
STEP 11
After the specified time, carefully turn the cake over onto a flat plate and remove it from the film.
STEP 12
Decorate to your taste and discretion. For example, grate dark chocolate on top and place a flower of walnuts in the center.
STEP 13
Thinly slice the kiwi that you saved for decoration into slices and place around the perimeter of the cake. You can also decorate with coconut shavings (I used colored shavings - it turns out very beautiful).
STEP 14
Serve the treat with tea or coffee. Bon appetit!
