STEP 1
How to prepare Donskoy Salad for the winter without sterilization? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Even cucumbers that are not very beautiful and smooth are suitable for this preparation. It is better to use tomatoes that are firm and not very ripe, so that they do not turn into tomato paste in the salad. Immediately prepare the jars for harvesting: wash them with soda and sterilize using one of the convenient methods. Boil the lids.

Wash the cucumbers for the salad, cut off the ends on both sides and cut them into circles or smaller if the cucumbers are large.
STEP 3
Wash the tomatoes and cut them into cubes or small pieces of any shape.
STEP 4
Wash the bell pepper, cut out the stalk with seeds. Cut the pepper pulp into strips or cubes, as you prefer.
STEP 5
Wash the carrots, peel and grate on a coarse grater.
STEP 6
Peel the onions and cut into half rings.
STEP 7
Peel the garlic and chop finely.
STEP 8
Place cucumbers, bell peppers, onions and carrots in a saucepan or saucepan with a thick bottom and pour in a little water. Place the pan on the fire, cover with a lid and simmer over medium heat for about 10 minutes.

Then add tomatoes and garlic, stir and simmer for another 15 minutes.

Add sugar, salt, bay leaf to the vegetables, pour in vegetable oil and vinegar. Stir the mixture until the sugar and salt are completely dissolved and turn off the heat.
