Step-by-step preparation

Cooking timeCooking time: 4 hr 30 mins
  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

Prepare food. I used soft cottage cheese; if you take farmer’s cottage cheese, it will also work, just beat it in a blender a little longer.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Wash and peel the tangerines, disassemble into slices. The dessert will turn out more tender if the slices are cleared of all membranes. Sometimes you get tangerines with a very thin film, you can leave it in that way; if it’s coarser and thicker, it’s still better to remove it. The slices can be left whole or cut, so they will be more evenly distributed in the dessert. This is the most time-consuming work in the recipe, which can be done in advance, cover the peeled tangerines and put them in the refrigerator.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Add 350 ml of cold boiled water to 30 grams of instant gelatin and leave to swell.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Beat the cottage cheese with a blender.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Add condensed milk and beat everything until smooth.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Heat the swollen gelatin, but do not let it boil, stir until it is all dispersed, and cool slightly. Pour in a thin stream, constantly stirring the curd mass with a spatula. If you use other gelatin, it is better to strain it through a sieve.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Add tangerine slices along with the released juice to the curd component, mix and pour into the mold. I took a silicone cake pan, or maybe a metal one. For easy removal of the dessert, it is better to line any form with cling film. Or pour the dessert into individual bowls, then you don’t have to turn it over to remove it, it’s your choice.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Cover the dessert in the form and put it in the refrigerator until completely set, for 2 - 4 hours. Mine froze after 2 hours, it all depends on the volume and type of shape, you can leave it overnight.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Turn the frozen dessert onto a plate, carefully separate the mold and remove the film. Decorate the top as you wish, I just grated the chocolate. For decoration, you can use tangerine, cut into slices or use peeled ones. The dessert tastes moderately sweet, with a creamy curd flavor and a juicy hint of tangerine. When serving, you can offer tangerine topping, at your discretion.

Jelly desserts are our favorite) Recently I tried a similar jelly made from cottage cheese and I liked it so much that I wanted to make more, and more) For the jelly, I took regular wet cottage cheese 9%, beat it well with a blender until smooth. A whole can of condensed milk seemed like a lot to me, so I added 200g. This is enough for my taste; it turned out sweet, but not cloying. The most difficult thing here is to peel the tangerines, I agree with this) I only peeled the side films. I had kiwi and added it too, although I know that gelatin does not go well with kiwi. My gelatin is instant, I like it best, it swells quickly and there is no foreign smell. I want to say that the jelly mass freezes right before your eyes. Therefore, we had to act quickly. For those who will repeat the dessert, I advise you to prepare the mold and cut the fruit in advance. I put one layer in the mold, then fruit and another layer of jelly. It froze very quickly! All that remains is to cut into pieces and sprinkle with grated chocolate, I used milk chocolate. The soufflé didn’t get wet from the tangerines and kiwi, the experiment was a success) It’s very tasty. The curd mousse is simply top notch! It is elastic, pleasant, gentle. A wonderful dessert, we ate it quickly)

Class! :) And if you lightly drown a layer of biscuit on top of the mold, you will get a real curd and healthy dessert, not just a dessert, but almost a cake))
