Delicious creamy soup with chickpeas and pumpkin

Very tasty and tender, healthy soup! My family, like many families I think, cannot do without hot food in their diet. Long-known soups are no longer interesting and that’s why I often peep recipes from different peoples and countries. I really like various pureed soups. Therefore, I want to share with you one of the recipes for an amazing dish. Chickpea puree soup is prepared very quickly, so this food can be prepared both in the morning and in the evening after work to please your household. The recipe for this soup was recommended to me by my friend, who really loves traveling to different countries. She recently returned from Portugal and shared with me a variety of recipes from Portuguese cuisine.

A tasty, healthy and satisfying soup, thank you! After cooking, I usually peel the chickpeas from the shell so that the puree is more tender. After cooking the vegetables, I poured the water into a separate bowl, pureed the vegetables and then gradually added this vegetable broth to the puree - this made it easier for me to control the thickness of the soup. It took 1 hour 15 minutes to prepare: 1 hour for boiling the chickpeas//30 minutes for the vegetables, 15 minutes for pureeing.

Great soup! What angelic patience. I can’t do this, but I will definitely cook it without peeling the shells (and there are more benefits - in the form of fiber. This is how I justify my laziness). Thanks for the recipe.
