  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make cutlets with cottage cheese and minced meat? Prepare the ingredients. You can use ready-made minced meat or make it yourself from fresh meat. You can use one pork or beef, or mixed minced meat.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Particular attention should be paid to the cottage cheese, which we will use in making cutlets. Of course, it’s better to take a natural rustic one, it’s tastier and easier to work with. But store-bought ones of any fat content will do, it’s a matter of taste.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

The main thing is to prepare it correctly. If it is too dry and consists of large grains, it must be turned into a paste-like mass, otherwise the taste and appearance of the cutlets will be spoiled by the pieces of cottage cheese that come across. To do this, rub it through a sieve or punch it with an immersion blender. Beat in the egg and mash until smooth. Wash the egg first to remove any dirt. You can learn all the intricacies of working with cottage cheese from the article; the link to it is at the end of this recipe.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Peel the onion and finely chop it with a knife.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Combine the ingredients in a deep bowl, add salt and ground black pepper to taste and knead the minced meat thoroughly until it becomes uniform in consistency.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

With hands moistened with cold water, form cutlets and roll them in wheat flour. Flour can be replaced with breadcrumbs, then the cutlets will acquire a crispier golden brown crust when fried.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Pour vegetable oil into the frying pan. Turn on the fire. Heat the oil. Cutlets can be prepared for future use by freezing them. How to choose a frying pan and vegetable oil, read articles on these topics, the link is at the end of this recipe.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Place the cutlets in the pan. Fry on both sides until golden brown over medium heat. Then pour in a little hot water, cover the pan with a lid and simmer the cutlets for about 15 minutes until the liquid has completely evaporated. Let the cutlets dry a little and remove from the pan.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Serve delicious cutlets with cottage cheese and minced meat to the table with a side dish or as a separate dish with bread and vegetables. Bon appetit!

Cutlets with cottage cheese and minced meat are, to be honest, a completely new recipe for me and it was very interesting to try this combination. I took cottage cheese in a pack of 5%, my minced pork (I pre-rolled the meat). I added onion minced through a meat grinder, two cloves of garlic, and cottage cheese to the minced meat. I broke the egg, added salt and pepper and mixed it well, then lightly beat the minced meat. Formed cutlets and fried them in a frying pan on both sides. Well, I want to say, the cutlets are very tender, juicy and tasty! I boiled rice as a side dish. I saved the recipe and will definitely make it again! Thanks Snezhana for such a great recipe and I recommend you try it.
