Curd chocolate balls
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
To prepare the dessert, we take fresh, dense, but not too dry cottage cheese, the fat content should be 9%, and best of all, homemade. To fill, you need cocoa powder, sugar, a pinch of vanillin and a little milk to make the mixture brew. And for the glaze you will need chocolate and coconut flakes. So, we take the quantity of all the listed products according to the list, in the end we should get 18 balls.
STEP 2
In a small saucepan, mix cocoa powder, sugar, vanillin and 3 tbsp. spoons of milk.
STEP 3
Stir the cocoa mass and bring to a boil, cook for a few seconds over low heat and let cool slightly.
STEP 4
Next, knead the cottage cheese well with a fork or spoon. If desired, you can rub it through a sieve, depending on the quality of the cottage cheese. In any case, the cottage cheese should not be too wet.
STEP 5
Add brewed cocoa mass to the mashed cottage cheese.
STEP 6
Knead the cottage cheese with cocoa mass thoroughly.
STEP 7
The curd mass should be a uniform light chocolate color.
STEP 8
We form small balls from the curd-chocolate mass, scooping the mass with a teaspoon dipped in water. We immediately roll each ball in coconut flakes.
STEP 9
Place the cottage cheese balls in coconut flakes on a plate lined with parchment.
STEP 10
We break the chocolate bar and place it in a saucepan containing cocoa mass. Add 2 tbsp. spoons of milk and melt over low heat, stirring.
STEP 11
Using a spoon, spread the melted chocolate onto the curd balls, covering the tops, then place them in the refrigerator to allow the chocolate glaze to set.
STEP 12
Place the finished curd and chocolate balls on a plate and serve.
