    STEP 1

How to make cottage cheese casserole in the microwave with semolina? To begin, prepare all the necessary ingredients. I have 5% fat cottage cheese, but you can use absolutely any kind, even low-fat, if you don’t have anything against it. Sugar can be replaced with sweet vegetable syrup. Add a little vanilla sugar if desired. Then the casserole will become even more flavorful. Vegetable oil is only needed to grease the mold.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Mix cottage cheese in a deep bowl, beat in an egg and add sugar.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Then add semolina and baking powder. Baking powder is responsible here for the extra height of the casserole, and semolina is responsible for stabilizing its volume after cooling.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Using a mixer (or a simple whisk), stir the curd mass until smooth.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Grease a microwave-safe dish with a small amount of sunflower oil. Place the curd mass in the mold so that 2-3 centimeters remain from the edge, since the casserole will rise very well during cooking. By the way, I have a ceramic mold with a diameter of 10 centimeters.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Place the casserole in the microwave. It would be good to cover the mold with a special protective lid for the microwave. Bake the dish for 10 minutes at 800 W. If you have a more powerful microwave, it will take less time, and vice versa. Also keep in mind that even two identical microwave oven models may operate differently; time and power are approximate. The casserole should stabilize, that is, become dense on top and not spread.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Cottage cheese casserole is usually served with sour cream. If desired, you can decorate the dish with your favorite berries. Bon appetit!

A successful casserole recipe that always turns out well. I haven’t tried it in the microwave, I always baked it in the oven. I'll experiment, thanks for the idea.

I wanted to try a recipe for cottage cheese casserole in the microwave with semolina. I had 300 g of cottage cheese, so I increased the amount of other ingredients using the site’s calculator. Beat the curd mass with an immersion blender until it becomes an airy paste. I decided to bake it in a glass dish with a diameter of 15 cm. My microwave has a power of 750 W. And there were more products. I didn’t know what time to set and decided to start with 10 minutes. This turned out to be enough. The casserole increased in height very much, then fell slightly. It turned out to be elastic, holds its shape well, and is easy to cut. For some reason layers formed). The casserole is fluffy, porous, light and very tasty! It's not as moist as when it came out of the oven. Reminds me of cottage cheese pie. I really liked this recipe!

I prepared a cottage cheese casserole in the microwave with semolina. I used farm cottage cheese, it was quite moist, so I slightly increased the amount of semolina (it took 1.5 tablespoons). I ground the curd mass using a blender. It took me 8 minutes to bake; the casserole spent another 5 minutes in a closed microwave. After this, it is easily removed from the mold. Great way to cook! Simple, fast, convenient. The casserole turned out tender, easy to cut, very tasty!!! Thanks to the author for the recipe!

I love casseroles, thank you very much for the recipe, I haven’t tried this one yet. I really don’t make mine in the microwave, but in a Redmond cartoon with remote control. It also turns out very cool and without much hassle

Thank you! The casserole turned out excellent. One “but” - I didn’t expect it to swell to such an extent. The container in which I cooked it had to be urgently changed in the second minute))))
