Curd cake with cherries

Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

We prepare the necessary products.
STEP 2

I pour all the bulk products, flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, vanilla sugar into the chopper bowl and put the cold butter cut into cubes. I grind everything into crumbs, starting at low speed, then increasing the speed.
STEP 3

I transfer the crumbs into a container and put it in the refrigerator.
STEP 4

To prepare the filling, place cottage cheese, eggs, sugar, cornstarch and vanilla sugar in the chopper bowl. I grind everything into a homogeneous mass.
STEP 5

I transfer the finished curd mass into a separate bowl.
STEP 6

Line a baking pan with parchment on the bottom and sides. I put 1/3 of the crumbs on the bottom, level it, put a layer of curd mass on the crumbs, then spread the cherries evenly over the entire surface. I repeat again, a layer of crumbs, curd mass, cherries. I spread the crumbs again as a third layer. Place in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 35 minutes to bake.
STEP 7

Remove the finished cake from the oven and let it cool completely.
STEP 8

While the cake is cooling, I prepare the cream. Pour chilled cream into a cold bowl, beat it until stiff peaks form, then add powdered sugar and beat again.
STEP 9

Cover the cooled cake with whipped cream and decorate with cherries.
STEP 10

I cut into portions and serve with tea. Enjoy your tea!!!
