I prepared cucumbers in mustard sauce for the winter using this recipe. Really very simple and quick preparation. I first soaked the cucumbers in cold water for 6 hours to make them crispy. I cut the cucumbers not into slices, but into strips and marinated them. I did not add greens for my own reasons. I added chopped garlic as recommended by the author. For the mustard filling I took salt, freshly ground black pepper, granulated sugar, odorless sunflower oil, 9% vinegar and 1 tbsp strong ready-made mustard. instead of powder. My cucumbers were marinated for 3 hours and a sufficient amount of juice was released. I placed the cucumbers tightly in sterile jars and poured the resulting juice over them. I sterilized half liter jars in boiling water for 15 minutes and rolled them up. Great recipe! Substandard cucumbers are easy to prepare in large quantities using this recipe. This appetizer is tasty, piquant, aromatic, and crispy. In winter, it’s just right with boiled potatoes. Many thanks to the author!

Cucumbers in mustard sauce are a simple and quick preparation. It has a spicy and very interesting taste. For me, this is now the best way to use cucumbers that, due to their appearance, are not suitable for pickling. Thanks to the author for the recipe! The whole family was happy!
