Creamy yogurt in a yogurt maker

Homemade yogurt is suitable for diets and children. It is recommended to add all additional ingredients, including sugar, to the finished yogurt before use. As an additive, you can use various fruits, berries, nuts, muesli, dried fruits, honey, juices, syrups, preserves and jams.     Sterilize glass cups and dishes in which we will cook.

    Mix milk and cream, put on low heat and heat to no more than 42 degrees. High temperature is detrimental to bacteria. If it is overheated, no problem, cool to the desired temperature and only then add the starter.

    If we use dry starter, then it needs to be diluted with a small amount of milk for better dissolution

    Whisk the starter into the milk mixture

    Place the cups in the tray of the yogurt maker and pour the milk mixture. DO NOT COVER the cups with lids!

    Close the yogurt maker and set the time on the timer. In our case - 6 hours.

    The yogurt maker should be placed on a flat surface, away from all sources of heat and not in a draft. Do not move the yogurt maker during cooking.

    The readiness of the yogurt is checked by slightly tilting it. A sign of readiness is a stable horizontal surface.

    Remove the tray with cups and cover each with a lid. Place in the refrigerator for several hours.
