Cottage cheese buns in the oven without yeast

STEP 1
How to make cottage cheese buns without yeast? Prepare all ingredients. Since the dough cooks quickly, immediately turn on the oven to preheat (temperature 180 degrees). I use the “top and bottom heat” mode, but you are guided by the features of your oven.
STEP 2
In a bowl, combine cottage cheese, eggs, salt, sugar and vanillin.
STEP 3
Mix with an immersion blender until smooth.
STEP 4
Mix flour with baking powder and sift 2-3 times. Add to other ingredients. If you are not sure about the properties of the flour, then mix not all, but most of it with baking powder, leaving about 50 grams of sifted flour without baking powder. Add it last, or don’t add it at all, depending on the consistency you get.
STEP 5
The dough can be kneaded by hand or with a mixer with a special dough attachment.
STEP 6
You should get a fairly thick sticky dough.
STEP 7
With wet hands, form small buns from the dough, pinch off approximately equal pieces from a piece and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet at a distance from each other, as they will increase in size during baking.
STEP 8
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven. I bake these buns for about 15 minutes at 180°C, the time is approximate. Make sure the buns don't burn!
STEP 9
Now it's time to decorate the top of the buns. Prepare milk and sugar.
STEP 10
As soon as the surface of the buns is browned, remove them from the oven (do not turn off the oven) and quickly brush with milk and sprinkle with sugar. The milk is absorbed into the surface of the buns very quickly, so in order for the sugar to stick well, everything must be done without the slightest delay!
STEP 11
Place the buns back in the oven for 5 minutes. Ready! Let the buns cool slightly, brew tea or pour coffee and invite everyone to the table! Bon appetit!
