Cold kefir soup with cucumbers and crab sticks
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
For this dish we need simple products that can be easily purchased at any grocery store or supermarket. Determine the fat content of kefir for yourself. Some people like kefir with a low fat content, but the best option for me is kefir with a fat content of 2.5%; I don’t take low-fat kefir.
STEP 2
So, let's start cutting all the ingredients. This is the most basic part of the work, which we will do very quickly. Wash the green onions, dill and parsley and chop them with a knife. Wash the cucumber, cut off the ends and grate on a fine or coarse grater. Defrost the crab sticks, if necessary, remove them from the packaging film and cut them into medium-sized pieces. You can also use natural crab meat.
STEP 3
When all the preparatory work has been done, let's see how to prepare cold cucumber soup on kefir with crab sticks. Take a deep bowl or small saucepan. Place cucumber shavings in it.
STEP 4
Add crab sticks to the cucumbers.
STEP 5
Add chopped herbs.
STEP 6
Pour the resulting mixture with one glass of chilled kefir and mix well.
STEP 7
Add salt to taste and mix thoroughly again.
STEP 8
Pour the dish into deep portioned plates and serve immediately or let it brew for a while. Afterwards we enjoy its taste and aroma, which mainly comes from fresh herbs!
