In our family, it’s customary to make cold soup from pickled beets; one half-liter jar is enough, and the taste is quite rich and saves time on cooking. Well, if we boil it, then add a couple of tablespoons of sugar to the broth in addition to vinegar, this also helps preserve the color of the beets.

The recipe is good, but I cooked it with water. I thought it was strange using broth because the fat would solidify and float on the surface. Time spent on preparation - 2 hours with cooking beets.
