Coconut balls with curd
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
Required Ingredients
STEP 2
Wash the raisins, pour boiling water over them and set aside for 10 minutes.
STEP 3
We fry the nuts: you can do it in a frying pan, but since there are very few of them, I used the microwave, set it for 2 minutes - and it’s done! Instead of walnuts, you can take absolutely any: almonds, hazelnuts, cashews, peanuts - those that you have in stock
STEP 4
My cottage cheese is grainy - it can be rubbed through a sieve, but it’s faster and more convenient to use a blender. For such balls, it is better to take full-fat homemade cottage cheese, or 9% store-bought cottage cheese, like mine
STEP 5
Add sugar or powdered sugar here
STEP 6
Add vanillin
STEP 7
If desired, add a little honey
STEP 8
Puree everything in a blender for a few minutes
STEP 9
We should get a homogeneous mass
STEP 10
Now add coconut flakes, mix well, we get a mass similar to dough
STEP 11
Leave a little for sprinkling the balls, 2-3 tables. l. will be sufficient
STEP 12
Take a little curd-coconut mass and knead it into a flat cake, make a small depression in the center where we put the filling, I started with a nut, but unfortunately I forgot to take a photo of this stage)
STEP 13
Form a ball with your hands
STEP 14
Roll the outside in coconut flakes
STEP 15
Next, I took 0.5 teaspoon as a filling. l. condensed milk, these balls are very delicate and you need to sculpt them more carefully than others
STEP 16
Then I made the filling from cherries (I used canned, pitted cherries in their own juice)
STEP 17
The last option is filling with raisins, which by this time have already steamed. But these are not all the filling options - you can take banana, dried apricots, prunes, various types of nuts, pieces of marmalade, or you can combine several fillings in one, for example, raisin nuts, cherry nuts, cherry raisins, etc. It all depends on your imagination and mood!
STEP 18
This is such a beauty we have! It's impossible to resist!
STEP 19
Enjoy your tea!
