    Take a bowl, put cottage cheese in it. There is no need to rub it through a sieve, even if it is grainy. After all, these are lazy dumplings. Everything is done quickly and easily. Break an egg into the cottage cheese, add salt and sugar.

    Start adding flour one spoon at a time, stirring after each addition. The dough should eventually become thick and come together in the center of the bowl. I had purchased cottage cheese with 5% fat content, it took exactly three heaped spoons of flour. If your curd is very wet, add more.

This is the third time I've made this recipe in the last month. The first two times I didn’t have time to take a photo - they ate everything at once. This time I decided to make a triple portion at once so that no one would take it away from me. We tried with different additives, but settled on cherry sauce. I boiled the cherries a little with sugar and starch. Delicious!
