STEP 1

How to bake classic homemade chocolate chip cookies? Prepare ingredients for making cookies. Remove the butter and egg in advance so that they come to room temperature. It is better to take fine sugar or powdered sugar. Just a little salt, a few crystals. Egg size C1.
STEP 2

Sift flour, baking powder, cocoa, salt into a deep bowl and mix everything. Since the cookies are chocolate, special attention should be paid to the quality of cocoa.
STEP 3

In another bowl, beat the egg with sugar until fluffy, about 5 minutes (so that the sugar is completely dissolved). Add room temperature butter and stir until smooth.
STEP 4

Mix together dry ingredients and egg-butter mixture. Gather the dough into a ball, wrap in film and refrigerate for one hour.
STEP 5

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Take out the dough and, using your hands, break off a small piece of dough (about the size of a walnut or as desired), roll it into a ball, placing it at a distance from each other on a baking sheet - the cookies will spread a little. The cookies are baked quickly for 8 - 10 minutes. If the dough is not so steep, then it is better to spoon it out.
STEP 6

Remove the finished cookies from the oven, let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes and place on a plate. These cookies go well with a glass of milk, a cup of coffee or tea.
