Classic crab salad with corn without rice

STEP 1
How to make classic crab and corn salad without rice? Prepare all the necessary products. Take chilled crab sticks; crab meat is also suitable. Mayonnaise can be replaced with sour cream or Greek yogurt. Take eggs from the CO category. But before boiling them, check the eggs for freshness. Place them in a container of water at room temperature: if the egg sinks, it is fresh. If the egg floats, it is better not to use it.
STEP 2
Peel the crab sticks. If you have frozen crab sticks, you need to defrost them properly. Remove the package of sticks from the freezer and place them in the refrigerator for a couple of hours and only then completely defrost them at room temperature.
STEP 3
Cut the sticks in any convenient way. But I recommend cutting it smaller.
STEP 4
Wash the cucumber well, dry it and also cut it into small cubes. In general, fine cutting is considered the most optimal for salad.
STEP 5
Boil the eggs hard. Usually this is about 8 minutes after the water boils. Immediately pour cold water over the cooked eggs, this will help them peel faster. Peel the eggs and cut them into small cubes.
STEP 6
Drain excess liquid from corn and add to salad. During the season, canned corn can be replaced with regular boiled corn.
STEP 7
Salt the salad to your taste. I use regular sea salt, but you can also use salt with additives: Adyghe or Svan.
STEP 8
Season the salad with mayonnaise. I recommend using home-made mayonnaise, it is much healthier. Below the steps you will find a link to homemade mayonnaise recipes.
STEP 9
Mix everything, transfer the salad to a salad bowl and serve.
STEP 10
