Chocolate cake without eggs, light as a cloud
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
To prepare a light chocolate cake without eggs, you need to prepare the necessary ingredients. I took the kefir out of the refrigerator in advance so that it warmed up to room temperature. Today we are expecting children to visit, so I prepared a double portion at once.
STEP 2
Take two bowls. Mix cocoa powder and sugar in one. Be sure to sift the flour through a sieve or use a special sifting mug. This will saturate the flour with oxygen and the baked goods will be more fluffy. When the flour has been sifted, add it to the bowl with cocoa and sugar. Pour kefir at room temperature into the second bowl and add the amount of baking soda required according to the recipe. There is no need to extinguish the soda, kefir will do that.
STEP 3
Mix the first dry mixture and the second (kefir and soda). The result is a pleasant coffee-colored dough with the thickness of sour cream.
STEP 4
Take a baking dish suitable for baking. If you have a silicone mold, you don’t have to grease it with oil. If you have a metal or glass mold, you need to grease it with oil. It is convenient to do this with a silicone brush. And on top of the butter you can sprinkle the edges and bottom with flour or semolina. Today I have semolina. The height of the pie depends on the size of the mold. If you are making one serving (take 1 cup of everything), the pie will not be tall and it is advisable to take a narrow pan.
STEP 5
Pour the dough into the prepared baking pan. I have a glass pan, so I put it in a cold oven. If you have a metal or silicone mold, then the oven needs to be preheated to a temperature of 190 degrees, “top-bottom” mode. Place the pan with the dough in the oven. Approximate cooking time 25 minutes. Test the dough with a wooden stick, toothpick or match. Focus on your oven.
