Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

Make a batter by mixing egg, starch, flour, vegetable oil and water. The dough should be as thick as pancakes.

Cut the peeled bananas into large pieces.

Heat 1.5 cups of vegetable oil in a thick-bottomed frying pan. After dipping each piece of banana in the batter, immediately lower it into the heated fryer - cook, turning with a spatula, until golden brown on all sides.
STEP 4

In another frying pan, prepare the caramel by adding sugar and water to the heated vegetable oil. Boil it over low heat until light yellow.
STEP 5

Place fried bananas in caramel. Use a spatula to coat each piece with caramel.
STEP 6

Sprinkle the finished bananas in sweet caramel with sesame seeds before serving.
