STEP 1
How to bake chicken stuffed with buckwheat in the oven? Prepare the necessary ingredients. It is better to choose a small chicken. I have a carcass weighing 1350 grams.
STEP 2
First, marinate the chicken. To do this, mix salt, pepper and mayonnaise. If desired, you can add finely chopped garlic. Brush the chicken with the mixture.
STEP 3
Place the chicken in a suitable sized container and cover with a lid. Leave it for 2 hours.
STEP 4
Rinse the buckwheat, add water and cook until done. When the water boils, add salt to taste. Turn on the oven to 200 degrees in advance.
STEP 5
Boiled buckwheat will yield approximately three times more than dry buckwheat.
STEP 6
Peel the onion, cut into small cubes and fry in butter until golden brown.
STEP 7
Mix boiled buckwheat with fried onions. You may not need all the buckwheat, but only a part. It all depends on the size of the chicken.
STEP 8
Place the chicken on a baking sheet or in a mold like I did. Fill the chicken with buckwheat.
STEP 9
Pinch the hole in the chicken using toothpicks. Place the chicken in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for about an hour and a half. The exact cooking time will depend on the size of the chicken and the power of your oven.
STEP 10
The chicken will have a delicious golden crust. Serve hot. Bon appetit!
