Peel the onion and cut into medium cubes.

Dilute starch in 50 ml of cold water.

Combine sour cream, dill, salt and pepper. Stir. If the sour cream is fatty, add 100 ml of water.

Cut the chicken into portions and fry in vegetable oil until golden brown.
STEP 7

Place the onion and bay leaf in a thick-bottomed pan. Add some salt. Place chicken on top and pour sour cream on top. Simmer over medium heat for about 20 minutes.

Pour the diluted starch into the pan. Simmer for another 20-25 minutes until done.
STEP 9

At the very end, add the garlic passed through a press.
