Chicken soup with potato dumplings and chicken

Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
To prepare the base of the soup you need to take water, chicken thighs, potatoes, carrots, onions, refined sunflower oil, and salt.
STEP 2
Remove the skin from the chicken thighs, add cold water and cook after boiling for 20-25 minutes. I used a pressure cooker to make the broth. The thighs were cooked in 12 minutes.
STEP 3
Separate the finished meat from the bones, chop and add to the broth.
STEP 4
Chop the onion and grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
STEP 5
Cut the potatoes into cubes.
STEP 6
Fry carrots and onions in vegetable oil until soft.
STEP 7
Add potatoes to the boiling broth, add salt and cook until tender.
STEP 8
While the potatoes are cooking, let's start preparing the flour dumplings.
STEP 9
Melt the butter in a water bath or in a microwave oven with a defrost function.
STEP 10
Add eggs, milk, melted butter and salt (to taste) to the sifted flour. Replace the dough.
STEP 11
It shouldn't be too thick.
STEP 12
Add onions and carrots to the broth with potatoes and cook for 5 minutes.
STEP 13
Take the dough with a teaspoon dipped in hot water and drop it into the pan with the soup.
STEP 14
Cook until the dumplings float to the surface. At this stage you can add spices. If you use a bay leaf, it must be removed from the pot of soup after cooking.
STEP 15
