    How to make a salad with chicken, apple and walnut? Prepare your food. It is better to use chilled chicken breast, it will turn out juicier and tastier. Take sweet and sour apple varieties. Yogurt is natural, unsweetened. Instead of yogurt, you can use low-fat sour cream.

    Pre-boil the chicken meat. How to cook chicken breast? Bring water to a boil in a saucepan and place the fillet in it. Add salt. Cook the chicken for 30 minutes at a low simmer over low heat. Then turn off the heat and leave the fillet until it cools completely - this way you will achieve maximum juiciness. Dry the cooled fillet and cut into cubes.

    Also cut the apple into cubes - the salad will look beautiful and neat if you cut all the ingredients into pieces of the same size and shape. If the skin of the apple is very rough, cut it off.

    Cut the cheese into cubes the same size as the apple. I took Adyghe cheese, it was a little bland. Next time I want to add cheese or feta to make the taste sharper.

    Cut the lettuce leaves into squares. I used iceberg in the salad because it is juicier and firmer than regular leaf lettuce. Chinese or romaine cabbage will also work.

I’ve made this chicken and apple salad several times already! It turned out to be a very tasty combination of chicken, apple and walnuts, satisfying, and everyone at home likes it. I try different cheeses and really liked the blue cheese in this salad. Sometimes I season it with homemade mayonnaise, it’s also very tasty. Try it!
