Chicken Pie Christmas Ring
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
Finely chop the onion.
STEP 2
Chop the garlic.
STEP 3
Grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Fry vegetables in vegetable oil until soft.
STEP 4
Pass chicken breasts through a meat grinder.
STEP 5
Finely chop the dill.
STEP 6
Add cooled vegetables, herbs, eggs, spices and salt to the minced meat.
STEP 7
Mix everything well.
STEP 8
Grease a baking sheet or mold with vegetable oil. Place a glass of water in the center of the mold and place the minced meat around the glass. For decoration, cut the eggs in half lengthwise.
STEP 9
Place the eggs on top of the ring, cut side down, pressing down lightly with your hands. Remove the glass.
STEP 10
Cut the dough into strips. Or decorate as you wish.
STEP 11
Cut leaves from the strips.
STEP 12
Cut out stars from the strips.
STEP 13
Place the strips on top of the ring, and tuck the ends under the minced meat.
STEP 14
Place the strips along the bottom of the ring.
STEP 15
Moisten the stars with water.
STEP 16
Glue the stars to the stripes.
STEP 17
Beat the egg and brush the surface of the pie.
STEP 18
Bake for 40-50 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. Cool and serve. Bon appetit and Merry Christmas!
