  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to cook chicken noodle soup with potatoes? Prepare the necessary ingredients. You can use any parts of chicken for the soup. I have chicken fillet. Chicken can be replaced with other meat, but in this case the cooking time will change. The noodles in the soup can be replaced with noodles or pasta.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

If you have a whole chicken, you need to cut it into pieces. If you, like me, have chicken fillet, then wash it, dry it, remove the films. Cut the meat into medium cubes.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Wash the potatoes, peel and cut into medium cubes. Peel the carrots, rinse and cut into small pieces. Peel the onion.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Peel the garlic and chop finely.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Heat vegetable oil in a thick-bottomed saucepan. Place chicken pieces and garlic on the heated oil. Stir-fry for about 2 minutes. The onion can be fried together with chicken and garlic, finely chopped first. Or, like I did, add it whole to the broth (step 7).

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Add chopped potatoes and carrots. Fry for about 1 minute more.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Pour in hot water and add the whole onion. Add salt and pepper to taste and mix everything. Bring the soup to a boil and simmer over low heat for about 30 minutes.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Add noodles. Cook the soup for about 7 minutes until the noodles are ready. At the end you can add dried parsley.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Pour the noodle soup with chicken and potatoes into bowls and serve. Bon appetit!

Good, hearty soup. As for chicken soups, I like it with dumplings. Cool option!

Even the most classic recipe can be prepared in a completely non-classical way, such as Maria’s recipe. I liked that during the cooking process the chicken fillet needs to be fried and not boiled, and also that it is cooked in one pot, all this greatly reduces the cooking time, and frying gives it an even richer taste. Added whole onions are suitable for children who don’t like them; you don’t have to fish them out of the plate. The noodle soup with chicken and potatoes was very tasty, we ate it with great appetite. Thank you.

Excellent Noodle Soup with Chicken and Potatoes! Very tasty and filling! This seemingly ordinary recipe features an unusual cooking method, which is always interesting. I generally like to cook soup based on fried meat. True, this time the chicken pieces were not very fried, but nevertheless it gave the broth an additional rich taste and color. I did add onions; in principle, we all eat them) At the end of cooking, I added dried parsley and a little black pepper from the grinder to the soup. The bright yellow broth is very pleasing to the eye) The soup is very tasty, tender and aromatic due to the garlic. Both me and the children liked it)
