STEP 1
How to make a chicken chop with tomato and cheese in the oven? Very simple! To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. For chops, a minimal set of spices such as salt and pepper is sufficient. But you can also add spices to your taste, such as dry garlic, paprika, curry, etc.
STEP 2
Wash the chicken fillet and dry. Cut each fillet lengthwise into two parts. Lightly pound the meat with a hammer on one side. At the same time, try not to damage the integrity of the meat. Season each piece with salt, pepper and sprinkle with other spices as desired. The breast can be replaced with meat from the thigh, but in this case the calorie content of the dish may change.
STEP 3
Wash the tomatoes, dry and cut into slices.
STEP 4
Remove the mozzarella from the brine, dry it and cut into thin slices. You can replace the mozzarella with any cheese of your choice.
STEP 5
Wash the greens and dry. Combine basil, parsley, olive oil, salt and pepper in a blender. Beat everything until smooth. You can vary the consistency using olive oil from a thick paste to a semi-viscous mass dripping from a spoon. You can use ready-made store-bought pesto sauce.

Place chicken breasts in a greased baking dish. Spread pesto sauce over chicken.

Place 1-2 slices of mozzarella on top.

Place 2 tomato slices on top of the cheese. Place the pan in an oven preheated to 180°C and bake for 20-30 minutes until the chicken is cooked. The exact baking time depends on your oven and the thickness of the chicken chops.
