The selected cereal must be thoroughly rinsed until the water is clear.

    Boil water in a saucepan, add washed chicken fillet, bay leaf, salt and pepper. Cook over medium heat, skimming off the foam, for 25 minutes. You can use the amount of water to your liking, depending on the desired thickness of the soup. But keep in mind that some of the water will boil away during cooking.

    Wash the potatoes, peel and cut into medium cubes.

    Peel the carrots and grate on a coarse grater.

I consulted with my family about what soup to prepare for tomorrow, everyone asked for chicken with melted cheese. I opened the feed and immediately found the recipe I needed, mysticism) I made the broth not from fillet, but from the backbone and bones from the breast. It turned out to be quite fatty and rich) I also fried it, so the broth becomes golden, which is important for chicken soup. I only chopped the onion finely so that it wouldn’t stand out too much (my daughter doesn’t like it). Butter gives an additional pleasant creamy taste. My husband bought some hard cheeses, they would go well on a salad, but they don’t dissolve well in soup. So I chopped them finely, poured the broth from the pan and beat them with an immersion blender until the mass became homogeneous. I didn’t add any grains, the soup turned out satisfying as is. I made cheese soup with chicken and melted cheese. I cooked a small portion (special order from my grandson)))). For the broth, instead of a breast, I used a chicken leg, the skin was first removed.
